CMS Chromebook Roll Out!

Carmichael Middle School will be distributing Chromebooks on the following dates if families have completed the Family ID and In Touch registration:

8-30-19       8^th grade students during ELA classes

9-3-19         7^th grade students during ELA classes

9-4-19          6^th grade students during ELA classes

If you have yet to register your student for Chromebooks

1. Go to https://www.familyid.com/pages/home
2. Create FamilyID account for your family
3. Add your student to your account
4. Search for “Richland School District” in the search bar.
5. Select “Richland School District”
6. Select “Richland School District Chromebook Policy (Aug 2019-Aug 2020)”
7. Fill out your information.
8. Don’t forget to SUBMIT!
9. To purchase Chromebook insurance - go to Intouch Receipting and pay online

Students who had Chromebooks last year will need to bring their cases on the appropriate date.  If a student does not have their case from last year, they will need to buy a new one.  We do not have extra cases for purchase at CMS.  New cases can be found at stores such as Walmart for $9.00.

Students who checked out their Chromebook for the summer need to see Mrs. Anderson, our librarian, to make sure the Chromebook is functioning properly.   She will also make sure paperwork and insurance are up to date for these students.
