Carmichael Middle School has a strong tradition of students participating in Cougar athletics. Our athletes and coaches take pride in sportsmanship and thrive in competition. We have a no-cut policy for all middle school athletics which means all of our athletes are given an opportunity to compete.
CMS Fall Sports Registration & Clearance Night:Fall Sports Registration: Online registration for fall sports will be open Thursday August 8. Please visit FamilyID @ https://www.familyid.com/pages/home to sign your student up for fall sports.
Fall Sports Clearance Night: Tuesday August 13 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm @ CMS. Students participating in Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, or Soccer; come meet your coaches, turn in paperwork and physicals, pay fees, and gain valuable information on your students Fall activity.

Football Gear Handout - Monday August 19 @ 3:00pm
Football First Practice - Wednesday August 21 @ 3:00pm
Volleyball, Cross Country, and Soccer First Practices - Monday August 26 @ 3:00pm
Step 1 - Complete Online Registration.
(Note: All student-athletes must have health and accident insurance. If your family does not have medical insurance, you may purchase school-sponsored health insurance.)
Step 3 - Pay Athletic Fees (Sports Participation Fee $35 and ASB Fee $22)
Payments can also be made online after August 1st.
Other Participation Requirements
Carmichael has PLC Study Hall on Fridays from 1:30 to 2:45 PM. All student-athletes are expected to attend the study-hall. If you do not want your student-athlete to attend the study-hall you may complete the a release form that will allow your student athlete to not participate in study-hall during the length of the sports season. If you want your athlete to only be excused one time from PLC Study Hall you may send in a note.
All paperwork (release forms and notes) should be handed into CMS Secretary, Mrs. Rizzo

We are pleased you are interested in volunteer opportunities with our district. In accordance with RCW 43.43.830 (Regulatory Code of Washington), Richland School District is required to register all volunteers and perform a background check through the Washington State Patrol.
